Have a cat c15 6NZ in a newer Kenworth W900L. Runs great once you get it started using ether and will hold prime for 2-3 days. Truck has no miss, rough idle or lack of power once running. Have changed both check valves on fuel filter head and haven’t found any lines leaking. Any thoughts on what could be causing it?
Also, no fuel in coolant so far.

Not making any engine oil is it? I have seen injector O-rings rupture on occasion putting a little bit of fuel into the engine oil, don't think I've seen it cause a bleed off issue though. These type of issues are hard to diagnose, many times it can be a cracked fuel filter base usually on the OEM side primary filter . does it have a screen style, or actual spin on primary filter? Also could be bad check valves in the fuel transfer pump. |
