Amherst WI | Really, I was thinking about "upgradeing" to one of those. I have a set of Murphy switches on my 856 for pumping water, if it wasn't for pumping water I would probably sell it and get a 4430-4440-4630-4640. The IH isn't a bad tractor but isn't as nice to run as somethng that could keep me cool and the dust out. I'd hate to run a really nice tractor on a pump too. Plus the 856 does about 2.1 gallons of fuel per hour on the pump, thats better than my 4 cylinder JD stationary engines.
Whats so bad about the 4630? | |
