Subject: Re: New Plumbing - copper water pipes or Pex piping?

I replaced all copper in our house 18 months ago with Pex. Most of it was origional from the 50's and I didn't trust the solder any more. Best thing I did. Easy to work with, quick to install. I have added some things since, very quick. Putting in a tee is about a minute. To put a tee into copper is usually 1/2 an hour, if the water drains properly. I won't ever use copper again unless there was no choice. Only bad thing is getting crimp tool into tight spots in an old house. Looks very neat, a lot better than copper I think.
