Well then, my 2nd choice tractor of a 7or 6R maybe isn't the best if I want ivt then ? Very nice to hear that the 7530 can be serviced by the dealer, way better than replacing tranny
There is likely plenty of posters who would defend their 6 and 7R tractors to the end. No problem to me.
But for me, if I was looking for a used tractor similar to what you are, it would be small frame 7X30 series all day. I don't know much about the IVT in the newer ones, they are dealer serviceable as far as I know. Reliability might be questionable at this point for 7R tractors anyway.
One thing sure, they have more emissions stuff, which generally leads to more issues. Not always.
Also, the 7X30 series tractors are the last models of a line of proven tractors. The 6 and 7R are a new, redesigned tractor which often leads to more issues. First year models are generally the worst.
Again, not always true, but generally so.
