| If you happen to find that video or research or whatever, I’d like to see it.
I’m going to give this a second try. The last try (several years ago) involved me wandering around the grocery store buying avacados, nuts, broccoli, cauliflower, bacon and so on with a very confused look on my face.
Came home and the avacodos were not ripe. Ate a fair amount of the nuts and was running out of fatty calorie sources pretty quickly. I maybe made it a day before I gave up based upon just no plan.
This time I have some recipes. Gonna invest some time into figuring out how to pick a good avacado.
I am not on insulin. It’s likely that I’m pre-diabetic but I don’t go to the doctor to find out. I imagine I’m a fairly low risk individual for surviving a drastic diet change since I do not currently watch my blood sugar. Any time I have checked it it’s been below 130 for sure, maybe below 120, I can’t really remember (have only checked it twice or so in the last 10 years).
Yesterday I had basically no carbs. Today I haven’t eaten and just tested my blood sugar. It was 98. But I have a family history and I need a wide load sign these days so I’d like to be able to keep my blood sugar that way and have some more energy and some smaller clothes. We’ll see how it goes.
I do like the idea of eating once in the morning and once at night. That sounds very convenient for busy farm seasons. | |
