Have 85k on a 2007.5 (new body style) Duramax with absolutely no problems but an EGR valve at 6k. Love the pickup other than the thin sheet metal on the body. I'd go with a duramax...especially if you are comparing new pickups. If you were comparing 2004 or older, I'd go with the Cummins or the 7.3 Powerstroke.
