There is a guy by the name of Dave Feldman that is not a scientist by profession (he is an engineer) but has done some very interesting research on himself with cholesterol. An N of 1 experiment and his sister also does it at times. He has had over a hundred blood draws and runs his experiments with scientific rigor. He has proven to himself that he can either lower or raise his numbers significantly by simple diet changes. Anyone skeptical will immediately point out he is not a "real" scientist or doctor, but if you follow him for a while he does the tests effectively. If a person needs to lower his cholesterol for say a job health requirement or insurance, he knows how to do it. At least for him. It makes you really question the push behind lowering cholesterol, as the foods he uses to alter it are about opposite of what the mainstream recommends. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDOHw0qhT0A https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dave+feldman https://www.youtube.com/channel/UComIr_SYmKrR6PbX2AezIJg
No worries about trending politics. It is what it is. John P.S. the comments below some of the videos I provide links for can be very interesting in some cases.
