Subject: Butter Bob Briggs

Pittsburg, Kansas

There is absolutely no need to buy anything special. Eating real food is the answer. Highly processed food (most of the food we get in a box or a can in the store today) with lots of carbs tends to spike our insulin (bread as highly processed wheat compared to Brussels sprouts which is a whole low carb food with fiber for example). That is bad enough in itself, but eating carby meals and snacks 5, 6 or ten times a day keeps the insulin levels constantly high. Over time this leads to insulin resistance. If you want to know what insulin resistance leads to, watch videos by Ivor Cummins.

If you want to do a diet simple and on a budget based on whole foods you can get at Wal-Mart, watch Butter Bob. He is the redneck version of the low carb diet. He went at it backwards. The vido linked is 5 years old. He did the diet, got the results, then went on a mission to discover "why" it had worked and did the research to ferret out the answers. Now he does videos sharing that research and practical guidelines for the average working Joe of which he is one.
