You are just not diagnosed. The current medical industry is focused on blood glucose levels. But the reality is high insulin levels are just as bad as high blood glucose levels. Your pancreas puts out more and more insulin over the years till it gets to the point it is either maxed out or the cells have developed resistance. At that point your blood glucose goes out of control and you are diagnosed. But the reality is you likely had high insulin levels (which causes a whole host of other health problems) for 10-20 years prior.
