You Chicago folks caused that problem over 100 years ago.. had to say it with your not Chicago.

You are correct that state inspection will still happen. By law, state is equal or tougher than federal. A state inspection should be as good as a federal inspection. Truth is, inspection is state and grades are federal. All the people wanting this to pass are the farmers market bunch which will make it intrastate and still require a state inspection to kill.

It blows my mind how little some on here know about livestock once it makes the last step off a trailer.
