Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | My mom's husband does a couple hundred acres of grass and a couple hundred grass alfalfa, so they bought a Krone tedder a few years ago. That thing is a beast compared to all the others I've seen. It's real touchy about ground speed vs. pto speed and it varies though the day, but they are trying to ted hay out perfect with no lumps. Good operator can figure it out and it's easy to run then. Actually a lot of people have borrowed it and still in good shape, and I know a couple people who borrowed it bought one. What model did you have issues with?
I like the owners at KBE, but I've had some issues with them as well. I try not to have to go there. They treated a friend of mine really crappy on a swather deal, and he's a young expanding farmer who'd be a good customer for a long time if treated right. | |
