SW MN | This will get you some good knowledge of the basics, They hand out worksheets with procedures to follow if you plug something or change heads. Its nice to have a cheat sheet. I've been going 8 years. I don't always remember from year to year when you only use it 2 weeks of run time.
If it's serviced for the 2020 season I'd make sure someone rides with you for a few hrs. for each crop you combine. These machines have adjustments for Every crop condition. Oh and have your local service man come out before the season and he too will give you some pointers. A good inspection service will sample all oils in every gear box ect. It really helps head off major issue's. Its a BIG learning curve! I went from a TR 98 to a 580r. Which I think is over powered with the CAT C13 | |
