Are you able to turn the front suspension off on your TG? That might give you an idea of how the T8040 will behave.

Re DEF, my experience is limited but my 190 (1600 hrs) and maxxum (3600 hrs) both are 2013s with DEF and made it through last winter without issue. Both were in the cold storage shed and coolant / tranny heaters plugged in just like I would the older ones. Did have to add put cardboard heat trap around fuel filters when it was -20s.

So far, DEF hasn't been a problem; knock on wood. I am fussy about dust on the caps before topping off tank and been buying in small jugs. Just don't use enough for bulk and fuel supplier said it is best if less than year old. It is different hearing the DEF pump drain the system after shutting the tractor down but get used to it.
