Pedee, Oregon
If you go Krone, you are pretty much stuck with it. Resale value is low, most have learned old Krones are expensive balers to keep in the field. A Krone will make a heavier bale than a hesston but the hesston will have less repair and purchase cost. Here a Krone will make a 1250 bale in straw, hesston 1150. During the heat of the day a Krone will still make a heavier bale but eat itself to do it. With a hesston your better off parking the tractor from 3-6 but no one does. Call spencer at peterson albany. He sells Massey obviously but you'll get honest answers about both.
