OR
I have 2 krones now. I’m getting 1500-1600lbs bales in alfalfa. On our 4th. Cutting its 1/2 ton cuttings it makes a very square bale. A 1000lbs bale in straw is easy as long as you use 550 twine
I’m baleing triticale right now my newest high speed with active pickup is a monster in big windows.

I’m trading my oldest 1290 with over 80,000 bales. We’re stepping up to a 1290 hdp. I’m after 1800+Lbs bale weight.
Unless kbe in Klamath is better than the one in Christmas valley that I use.I would give Santiam tractor a call ask for Eric he was a krone rep for this Area.
The biggest problem with krone balers is keeping the vsf bearing good I change mine every 15,000 bales but we run acid so it’s hard on them. We switched to krone balers back in 2007 I put over 15,000 in each baler every year.
