| IMO- having a dealer that far away isn't an issue IF you are will to stock a few parts on hand. Ie- belts, bearings, chopper knifes and filters.
If you do make the switch, have a salesman or Claas rep go over that machine top to bottom, front to back. Biggest complaints I hear on them is lack of knowledge of them. make sure you know how to adjust and when you should adjust everything.
They are a complicated machine at first with soo many adjustments.
That machine will play with an 8 row head, even in 200+ bushel corn. | |
