I don't think you should be returning there. The zero pressure return should just be used for motors requiring a case drain (usually smaller third hose). With my planter on an 8310R, the case drain (different coupler) needs to be connected to allow a place for the internal leaks to get back to the tractor. The return from the vac motors tee together and go to the return port below the SCV stack. As i understand it the oil there gets back into the flow so the main pump can pick it up.

I think the zero pressure port is like dumping the oil into the filler neck. The oil needs to be picked up and directed to the main pump. The main pump is getting starved bcause the oil is not available to it.

With larger return flows like you have I think it needs to go back through a normal return on an SCV or one of the other ports below the SCV stack.
