McCanna, ND | Depending what points you run I think your asking a lot of a small frame two track machine.
I have a 50’ flexicoil with stealth openers on 6” spacing and a row crop versatile 375 on 480/42 duals played with it. We run it on a 2360 with 710s though. On soft ground the 2360 does have its hands full.
I pull a sidedress 15/30 bar with a 8410T about the same depth as our striptill machines we pull with the 375/2360. The knifes are essentially the same between the two as well. The 8410T runs out of snort way earlier then the 4wds do. The 8410T is wound up pretty tight compared to the 17-1800 the Cummins chugs along at.
Long story short, get a bigger versatile or a large frame two track. | |
