southern MN | I was at a meeting, one part was on new more govt (EPA-type) approved tile systems. Was talking to the fella next to me, mentioned the sort of stuff they were talking abouyt only works on flat fields, nothing for me, I have one field with 4 hills and 3 valleys, with sidehill springs in attition to the valleys that need tile.
He says yea, he had a small 100 acre field like that, he just enrolled it so he didn't have to piddle around with it at all.
Huh - that would be about 1/3 of my farm too, just like you. :)
