Central MN | I googled gall midge... and it looks similar to what I saw on only 2 plants walking in it for 10min on friday.. I broke it open in a black spot (1.5" on whole plant) and checked for larva cause I heard of some disease that larva are in the stem.. no idea it was called gall midge I'm betting that's what it is.. maybe it's not far enough along to look really bad yet.. as if it don't already right?
