Is the requirement 25 animal units per acre or 25 animal units per operation? The article reads per acre the video says per farm. It's not the end of the world. Farms in the cheseapeak bay water shed have been required to have a cafo permit for any operation over 200 animal units for many years. Animals not confined do not count towards the cafo permit.
