SW Ohio | I bought my first one used and it looked worse than that one for about $5000, it covered over 8000 acres before I added a second one that I got for $2000. Spent about another $2000 on repairs over the 12000 acre life of the pair. Check the splines going to the first tower, if they are worn it will be expensive to fix, make sure all the turtles turn like you think they should with no broken teeth inside, check the underside for wear into the gearbox, any leaks in the cutterhead box and pass that one up. | |
