I talked to a guy who was interested in the New London site and he said Iowa DNR issued fine last year and was requiring site clean-up and inspection by new owner. Large earthen lagoon (full) and sand from beds needed hauled. He said it looked like they had sand spread on the whole property and clean-up would be very expensive. Cattle buildings where in rough shape and needed major repairs.
