North Dakota | You are adjusting a 1/2inch bolt all thread on the wing balance under the plastic cover. You will have to loosen bolt on bracket above the 1/2inch bolt. There should be a sticker that shows which way to move it to make wing heavier or lighter. Believe there is a sticker inside cover that would assist you on how to go about adjusting the balance. The owners manual should also help, look under wing balance. If you add weight such as transport or crossauger or remove weight on header, wing balance might need to be adjusted.
Yes you can create a headache if start adjusting on wrong adjustments.
