Ok I'll be the one to ask
Whats a mint trailer?

When mint is ready to harvest, they windrow it, let it dry a couple days, and then pick it up with a silage chopper. The trailers they use are called mint tubs, and are both field equipment and mint processing equipment. They have tight seals on the doors and have steam lines built in to the trailer. Once the trailer is filled in the field, it is taken to a boiler and steam is pumped through the tub. The oil in the mint leaves is boiled out by the steam and carried through pipes connected to the trailer to away for distillation. After a set time, the oil is pretty well all steamed out, then the tub is disconnected from the boiler, dumped out somewhere (at this point the load of steamed mint plant material is called a slug), and taken back to the chopper in the field to be refilled. Mint slugs are spread back on the fields later, or some guys feed them to cattle.
