| Thats interesting, we have hillco adapters on the end of our feederhouses for the hills we run on. So if i pitched the end of feeder house back or forward that might change amount of smile and frown in the header? hard to picture...
where we farm it is all rolling hills, the issue is when you go through a draw, even a subtle one the header doesnt not smile enough and skips crop between the end and middle of the header. even with the feeder house forced allllll the way down, indicator buried past 4, float is calibrated correctly numerous times by 5 or 6 different people now, along with wings. So if i could get it to smile more that would get the cener of each wing down more and be able to pickup that crop in the draws. I hope its an adjustment somewhere but no one else seems to think so. when im oppopsite and on top of a hill it frowns so much more. the "curve" or frown is obviously more then the smile. Like i said it looks like 75% frown and 25% smile when travel is maxed each way. Does anyone know what the vertical bar adjustment changes? the mechanics and macdon said dont ever mess with it but id like to know. | |
