Your pork chops will come in on a Boeing 747 from South America where it is much more challenging to move grain out of the countries. So they will condense it down to a pork chop, using their cheap and abundant labor to feed and slaughter the hog, then sell it to us, duty free thanks to NAFTA. Poultry and hogs will lead the way and beef won't be far behind. Another 10 years you will be hard pressed to find domestic food on your grocery shelves. This country is choosing energy security over food security. It is going to be hard to drive around our SUV's when we are starving, isn't it?
