Subject: RE: ^^^Read this about wheel rake width!!^^^

Sioux County, NWIA

What you say about rake angle and more wheels is the gospel truth. It is rare that a wheel rake can run at maximum width and work well.

Can’t help you with the wrapping problem if you have wind panels in. Seems odd for that good of a rake. I run Rowse and never have problems with hay coming up the wheels and wrapping on the back, but in certain conditions in cornstalks it will do that terribly, to the point of getting out and unwinding the crap wound up on the wheel axle every 10 acres or so.
