Oh boy, don’t you know that not having a shop is NOT NAT approved! How could you possibly get by without in floor heat and a hydraulic door? Seriously, I feel your pain, but not really. On the farm growing up Grandpa put up a 40 x 60 “machine shed” we called it in the mid 60s, I was born in 62. I think the concrete shop portion is 20 x 40, I just can’t imagine someone doing the majority of there mechanical repairs outside. Quite often if it was rainy we would be in the shop fixing something. Our field box was a 7” x 24” tool tray out of a carry around style box. Seemed to always get the emergency field jobs done with what was in there. Of course every tractor had at least two Crescent wrenches in it. All this probably didn’t help much. I will say there are a lot of good ideas here.
