Texas, the really flat part
South of Amarillo it’s a mixed bag. There’s some good looking cotton and some sorry stuff too. Everything is a bit behind, I did have small squares by the 4th, but I’m not expecting a great yield. We were actually getting pretty dry, but caught some showers last week. My insurance agent says the county has probably lost 10 or 15% of its planted acres.
