Top middle of MO. land of green hills and grass | The idea is appealing, I just can’t figure out how I can manage planting into it that big. JD7000 planter. Row units and stand establishment I think will be OK, but I doubt my row marker will work at all, and don’t think my Raven Cruizer is good enough to plant by.
Also facing resistance from others in the operation, feeling like pretty sure Notill is wrecking the place, and there’s no way we’ll be able to drive across the field with a cover on it that won’t dry out. Some validity there maybe, but I keep making point that roots and soil structure are helping where deep tillage will sink us when wet.
I’d like to see how well the weed suppression works...this year is really kicking my tail. |
