They have been promoting this the past couple years. It is supposed to help to keep intake up during heat events. You’re supposed to feed it a day or two in advance to a heat event. It costs 25 cents/hd/day. Does anybody have experience with this product and was it worth the 25 cents? TIA.
I was also told that it can increase the dressing percentage come time for slaughter. I can’t remember the supposed rhyme or reason but I am rather skeptical of that claim.
One think that will work, unless you're already in a very high humidity area, is a setup of high pressure misters that cover an area so that all the cattle can rest under the misters.
