Central Iowa | We are just a hop and skip south of I-80. We mounted seeder last fall while we waited for all the rain. We were seeding well into November can't recall last day we knew it was gamble to say the leaset. When taking a deer hunter around in December for shotgun season we noticed it had started to spike. We were impressed with the stand we got major thing we learned was that as low as we run our corn head we need more outlets. The seed was dispersed in 20 in strips and not covering the whole row. While plenty good for cover I didn't like the looks of it so going to mount another unit on the other side to gain capacity and more outlets. | |
