Central Iowa | While I agree with you on the constant filling I will disagree on just spinning it on. Normally that works If your plenty early and have plenty of rain to get it going. Our experience has been that you have to use much higher rates to get same stand which gets expensive fast. The air seeder blows under the corn head so all the seed is under the trash getting down on the dirt and requiring much less moisture to get the cover going. This was really important last fall and going to be important this fall as it looks like it will be a late one again with all the late planted corn. | |
