Don't over do it because when all the algae dies the decay process consumes oxygen then all your fish die. Check the label to see what's legal in your state. Princep or simazine is an active ingredient some algicides. I have not used either of these chemicals in ponds but remember my Grandfather used Princep in the 70's to control algae. | |
