Kittitas Co. Wa. State

Yup,,  I've taken in strays,, when I see phesants in the hay fields when cutting hay, I always watch and slow down when I know where the phesant and her young are. I've actually stopped got off and shooed them toward the already cut windrowed part of the field. Dang killdeer always nest in gravel along the farm roads,, so when I see a female killdeer doing her 'wounded' act..  I look around- find the nest and place a couple of large rocks around the nest so I or anyone else passing by won't run over her nest.

Rescued a few injured raptors, etc...

Yup, sometimes it doesn't help,, sometimes it does,, have had some awful good 'rescued' dogs and cats thru the years.

I don't know..... maybe the good things to help animals keeps the 'Balance sheet' even in life??
