Blooming where I am planted! | My thoughts exactly...working in an animal hospital for a few years, you get to know "the look" and that kitten certainly did not have a lot of time left. I got to be able to predict with pretty good certainty which animals probably wouldn't be around the next day. You came along at the right time.
How is his hydration by the way? If you pick up the skin on his back and it doesn't fall down very fast, he is in serious need of fluids. We'd give badly deydrated animals sub-cu fluids, as drinking wouldn't be fast or enough to help.
