Please do not think of yourself, nor the marriage as a failure. Certainly your kids are not a failure.
Regardless of which of you caused this, thats old news now. Time to either patch it up or go through with the divorce.
The best advice has already been given. Say nothing about the divorce plans/strategy to anyone, not even to your kids!!!!! I have seen where one parent will bribe the kids into telling them what the other parent is planning on doing. Not good.
