Why do you feel it has to be you that breaks the news to  your boys..?

I could  understand  that you feel some responsibility towards them, and feel  that such news should come from you.

And I wont argue with that..You may well be right... Only you can answer that question.   But it's likely that you arent thinking  at your clearest at the moment    And I guess thats why you posted.. to help you get your thoughts in order,

The first thing I'd suggest is that you quit using that word "failure"...   It's ALWAYS  at least a  2 part  story...
