Mississippi Delta | I keep lots of notes on lots of things. I guess you could say it is my journal. I try to document as much as I can that goes on on the place everyday for future reference (weather, crop conditions, people/salesmen that visited the shop, activities for the day, spray history, fertilizer history, etc.). Its not just the employee mess up book, but those things go in there too, as well as someone who went above and beyond. We have had discussions, and I have tried to help him out with pointers. Point being is that for the money he is making and wants to make, I shouldn't have to hold his hand on everything. I hired him to make MY life easier, now he just seems to be another somebody to babysit. | |
