I've been using TeeJet section control for years now and haven't experiecned the problem of coming on with the master off. I would think that maybe there was a bad wire some where. Most of the section control systems out there now are realy good. I've sold TeeJet, AgLeader, & Raven all with great results. Don't let a bad experience from some older units scare you.
