NESD
I was called for circuit court jury duty 6 years ago, I had no problem with serving as I was recovering from shoulder surgery, it was for a 6 month term and ended up sitting on three trials, I found it to be very interesting to watch out judicial system at work, was very surprised at some of the excuses that people gave to get out of serving, some the judge allowed and others were not.

3 years ago I was summoned for Federal Grand jury duty and was selected as an alternate but never had to serve, that was an 18 month term.
