We have the drum up in corn position. The head we have has plates at bottom to force grain further to the center. Also it has different flighting in center that shovels grain into feeder house. The guys at Colby asked the same things only offered that maybe the Deere black plastic piece on the side may help force grain further to center but my operators or me could not get heads on. They said only a few guys had been able to. Talked with neihgbor and grandfather their aproach was to set chain straight at morning service then just run.
