Last time I got a letter from from a Federal court (Detroit) I explained to them that it was harvest time and a major problem to serve in October/November. I offered Dec Jan Feb March as being fine. I was dismissed from service that time and haven't been asked since.

I think they will always work with folks that have legitimate reason.
