You started the tractor before the screen had booted up? If so , then it's good chance your card is done....lost a 600 in our combine and the tech said that starting before screen boots up will mess with the voltage and fry the boards.
Never heard of that. You can start the machine without waiting for the display to power up. If the display powers up first, it will likely lose power when you crank the engine, which will mean you may have to shut off and crank again to get proper communication with all controllers.
I would agree that the card is likely the problem.
We lost a card and a whole monitor before and the tech blamed it on starting during boot up. Have lost communication with the controllers if we dont wait but never have if we wait to boot up first. The 1200 planter with the 600 is the worst for losing communication more than the combine.
It now a habit to wait and so far we havent had any more issues....
