I keep reading statistics on how laptop sales are gaining on desktops - and some theorize that eventually, desktops may cease to be made/sold. I just cannot see why anyone would want a laptop unless they had a need to be mobile with their computer. I cannot see why anyone would buy one, set it on a desk, and leave it there. Granted, I have used laptops very little - and I'm sure that a person gets used to using them after awhile, but to me, a desktop is SO much better and easier to use. Say nothing about not having the battery and heating issues that seem to be rather common with laptops. As I stated, laptops have appeal to anyone needing mobility, but I just can't see using one for household use.
