Dumb question, 

I just found a company that has CORS over northern IL. Some of them cover our farms but there are some farms that would be 1-4 miles (about)  from the coverage of a station.

Is there a way to boost the signal to get just a little bit more range or is the range of the tower it?  It looks like about a 15-20 mile radius.
