Last year was very dry in the UK. It was predicted that straw was going to be very short and anyone with baler was going to be a millionaire.
Come harvest (which was dry and easy) everyone and his dog got they're baler out and there was tonnes and tonnes of bales everywhere. By the spring, you couldn't give straw away.
