I guess I just didn't want another yahoo, aol, netscape,gmail account sitting out there and didn't want to take up their servers for one email that might then just end up getting tons of junk.

It's a personal quirk I admit. 

I guess I just hate to waste resources and the free emails all seem like a resource.  Once again, as I said, quirk.
