I'm guessing this is a single cylinder gas engine compressor that happens to be branded John Deere. I fixed a Honda powered Dewalt branded compressor that had seized. There was no rod bearing. I replaced the aluminum rod and polished the crankshaft. It works but uses compressor oil. Seems like rod and gaskets were about $100.
